Frequently asked.

The things people want to know before they book.

No. Aesthetic injectable treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are planning a pregnancy, Kate would usually advise completing any planned treatments beforehand and waiting until you have finished breastfeeding before resuming. This is a safety precaution, not a reflection of any known risk.

Yes — all new clients start with a consultation. This gives Kate the chance to understand your skin, your goals, and any medical history before recommending anything. It takes around 30 minutes and there's no obligation to book a treatment on the same day.

Prices vary depending on the treatment and the amount of product used. As a guide, anti-wrinkle injections start from £150 for one area, and skin booster treatments start from £250. A full treatment menu with prices is available on the Services page. All prices are confirmed before any treatment begins.

Anti-wrinkle injections use a purified protein to temporarily relax the muscles that cause expression lines such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. Results typically appear within 5–14 days and last around 3–4 months, depending on the area treated and your metabolism.

For 4–6 hours after treatment, avoid touching the treated area, lying down flat, or doing vigorous exercise. Avoid alcohol on the day of treatment. You should also avoid facials, sunbeds, and saunas for 48 hours. Kate will go through full aftercare instructions at your appointment.

Yes — certain treatments are available as courses of two or three sessions at a reduced rate. Kate will advise if a course is recommended for your goals during your consultation. We don't currently offer credit or finance options, but package pricing is available for skin boosters and polynucleotides.

Appointments typically book out 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for evenings and Saturdays. If you're flexible with timing, mid-week slots often have more availability. You can check live availability and book directly online.

Yes. Kate trained as a registered nurse before specialising in aesthetics. Her clinical background informs every aspect of her practice, from how she assesses contraindications to how she administers treatments. All injectable treatments are medical procedures and are carried out with full clinical care.

Some mild swelling, redness, or tenderness in the treated area is normal and usually settles within 24–72 hours. Bruising can occasionally occur and may last up to 2 weeks. Most people find they can return to normal activities the same day, though we recommend avoiding anything strenuous or high-heat for 48 hours.

Skin boosters like Profhilo are injectable hyaluronic acid treatments that hydrate and plump the skin from within. Unlike traditional fillers, they don't add volume in a specific area — instead they spread through the skin to improve overall texture, tone and elasticity. Results develop over 4 weeks and typically last 6 months.

No — consultations are complimentary. There's no charge and no obligation to book a treatment. Kate simply wants to make sure any treatment is right for you before committing to it.

Polynucleotides are a next-generation injectable treatment derived from salmon DNA. They work by stimulating your skin's own repair mechanisms, improving skin quality, reducing fine lines, and helping with dark circles or crepey skin. They're particularly effective for delicate areas like under the eyes. A course of two treatments is usually recommended, spaced 4 weeks apart.

Kate takes every concern seriously. A complimentary review appointment is offered for all injectable treatments, typically 2–4 weeks after your session. This is when small adjustments can be made if needed. If you have any concerns in the meantime, get in touch and Kate will respond promptly.

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge. You can reschedule easily via the booking link in your confirmation email.

Anti-wrinkle injections take 5–14 days to take full effect. Filler results are visible immediately but look their best once any initial swelling has settled, usually within 2 weeks. Skin booster and polynucleotide results develop gradually over 4–6 weeks as the skin's collagen production responds.

You're welcome to bring a friend or family member for support, especially for your first visit. Please let us know in advance so we can ensure there's enough space in the treatment room.

Not when placed carefully and conservatively. Kate's approach is always to work with your natural anatomy, restore what has been lost, and avoid overfilling. The goal is results that look like a well-rested, refreshed version of you — not a different face.

It depends on the treatment. Anti-wrinkle results last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers typically last 9–18 months depending on the area and product used. Skin boosters like Profhilo last around 6 months. Polynucleotide results can be more long-lasting as they improve the underlying skin quality over time.
